SMS Messaging Terms

Program Description

FreightSeal sends transactional SMS messages to US motor carriers. There are two message types:

• Carrier verification links. When a freight broker initiates verification of a carrier for a specific load, FreightSeal sends a one-time confirmation link to the phone number associated with that carrier's FMCSA registration. The message contains a unique link to confirm or decline the assignment.
• Login codes (2FA). When a carrier requests access to their FreightSeal account at freightseal.net, we send a one-time numeric code to authenticate the session.

How You Receive Messages

Messages are sent under one of two conditions:

• Broker-initiated verification. A licensed freight broker in an active business relationship enters your DOT number into FreightSeal to verify a pending load. Your phone number is retrieved from the public FMCSA carrier registry.
• Carrier self-service. You enter your DOT number on freightseal.net and request a login code to access your account.

Message Frequency

Message frequency is low. FreightSeal sends one message per verification event. Messages are not recurring or subscription-based. You will only receive a message when a specific verification or login action is triggered.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number. Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at info@shifthaul.com.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. FreightSeal does not charge for SMS messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or use of the FreightSeal platform.
